| MobileOne Ltd (M1) is Singapore's third
largest provider of mobile communication services, with over
one million customers. In addition to offering a full range
of mobile voice and data communications services, M1 provides
international call services to both mobile and fixed line customers.
Widely known as an innovative operator with an established brand,
M1 aims to be the leader in personal voice and data communications,
focusing on value, quality and customer service.
M1 was launched in 1997 from a consortium joint venture between
SPH, Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation, Britain's
Cable & Wireless and Hongkong's Pacific Century CyberWorks.
The company was listed on the Singapore Exchange on December
4, 2002 in Singapore's largest public offering in three years
and the third largest of all times. SPH currently owns 13.97%
of M1.
