November 17, 2000 - DBS Land will be replaced by CapitaLand as an index stock in The Straits Times Index (STI) at the start of trading on Tuesday, November 21. The STI, the main market barometer of trading on the Singapore Exchange, is published by Singapore Press Holdings.

JIT and Natsteel Electronics will be removed from the list of index stocks on their respective last day of trading. Their replacements will be decided at the scheduled review of the STI in December.
