September 1, 2003, Monday - Fraser & Neave Ltd, a component stock in the Straits Times Index, will trade "ex-entitlements'' on September 3 following its capital reduction and cash distribution exercise. To reflect this change in the Straits Times Index, F&N will be excluded from the calculation of the index for one day on Sept 3. The recapitalised F&N will be added back to the Straits Times Index the following day on Sept 4.
