Appointment as Chairman

Singapore Press Holdings Limited ("SPH") wishes to announce that Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam has been re-elected as a Director at its Annual General Meeting held this morning and is now the Chairman of the Company, following the stepping down of Mr Lim Chin Beng.

Dr Tan holds 4 management shares and 35,797 ordinary shares in SPH.
