Dissolution Of Subsidiaries

Singapore Press Holdings Limited ("SPH") wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Futura Management Limited and Morningvista Investments Limited, have been dissolved on 13 June 2006 and 5 July 2006, respectively, pursuant to members' voluntary liquidation proceedings commenced earlier. These companies were investment holding companies incorporated in the Cook Islands and British Virgin Islands, respectively.

The dissolutions have no material impact on the earnings per share or net tangible asset of SPH for the current financial year ending 31 August 2006.
