Dissolution Of Subsidiary

Singapore Press Holdings Limited ("SPH") wishes to announce that, Blu Inc Holdings (S) Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPH Magazines Pte Ltd, whose entire share capital is held by SPH's wholly-owned subsidiary, The Straits Times Press (1975) Limited, has been dissolved on 30 September 2006, pursuant to members' voluntary liquidation proceedings commenced earlier.

The dissolution has no material impact on the earnings per share or net tangible asset of SPH for the financial year ending 31 August 2007.
