Announcement to Singapore Exchange Ltd

DISSOLUTION OF SUBSIDIARY

Singapore Press Holdings Limited ("SPH") wishes to announce that SPH MediaWorks Ltd (in liquidation), a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPH, has been dissolved on 26 July 2007, pursuant to liquidation by the court.  

The dissolution has no material impact on the earnings per share or net tangible asset of SPH for the financial year ending 31 August 2007.
