Shin Min Daily News to publish
4 issues of special morning edition

SINGAPORE, September 23, 2005 - Newspaper readers are in
for more choices. Shin Min Daily News, the evening Chinese newspaper
published by Singapore Press Holdings, is producing four issues of
special morning edition, starting from Sept 27, Tuesday.
The four issues will be published over a period of about two months.
The compact-sized morning edition will be packed with pleasant surprises
for readers. From content to style, it will be distinctly different
from the existing evening broadsheet edition while retaining the
latters strengths.
That means the morning edition will still have the latest breaking
news, social issues that matter, useful consumer tips and a lifestyle
guide. In addition, it is designed to be a morning newspaper that
keeps pace with urbanites, giving them another window to the news
and up-to-date information pulsating through the city.
Shin Min Daily News special morning editions are available from
newsstands on Sept 27 (Tue), Oct 12 (Wed), Oct 27 (Thu) and Nov
12 (Sat) for 70 cents each. The morning edition will not affect
or modify the evening edition, which will be out daily as usual
on every evening. Shin Min readers can now wake up to the morning
edition and wind down with the evening edition.
