 UW (U-Weekly), UW is Singapore's first hybrid entertainment, lifestyle and social news magazine. Launched as You Weekly in 2001, the magazine was renamed UW and adopted a new Chinese title 《优1周》 in December 2005.
Published in a large format, UW offers sizzling entertainment coverage with reportage on happenings in the local and overseas entertainment scenes including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan and Hollywood. It also features a riveting social news section and a lifestyle section that covers travel, health, fitness, fashion, F&B, celebrity homes, fengshui and more.
 In addition, since March 2009, it has expanded its weekly coverage with an additional social news and lifestyle supplement called “UW Spice Up”《优1周加料》. The supplement offers 16 more pages of probing news on what’s happening in Singapore and lifestyle coverage, giving readers more value for their money at the same affordable price of $2.
The inaugural issue of the supplement was sold out within three days after it was launched – a bona fide hit!
UW is published by Focus Publishing Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings Limited. The Editorial team is headed by Ms Chee Li Foong and Advertising Sales team by Mr Lawrence Yeow.
