Things to note:

  1. Full Transitional ads consist of the following ad units: Desktop Transitional Ad, Mobile Full Transitional Ad, App Splash.
  2. Provide one click-through URL.
  3. Third-party tags are not allowed. Only 1 impression tracker and 1 click tracker will be permitted for a single set of creative material.
  4. The close button will be provided by SPH Media.
  5. If the creative is produced by the client:
    • Submit ad creatives for scheduling at least 5 working days prior to launch of the campaign.
    • If necessary, provide the ad creative in PSD format.
    • The submission is subject to adaptation and production fees
  6. If the creative is produced by SPH Media:
    • Provide the ad creative in PSD format.
    • This needs to be done at least 10 working days prior to the campaign launch.
    • SPH Media will allow up to 3 rounds of changes. Final changes need to be confirmed no later than 3 working days prior to the campaign launch.
    • There will be a maximum limit of 3 creatives per campaign. These are subject to adaptation and production fees.
  7. There will be no animation limit for any animated transitional ads.
  8. The video autoplays in mute as default. The user has to initiate turning the sound on.
  9. Frequency cap applies to Desktop Transitional Ad, App Splash and Mobile Full Transitional Ad and Mobile Catfish.
  10. Desktop Transitional Ad, App Splash and Mobile Full Transitional Ad are excluded from Straits Times login users.

Production of creative done by client

  • Submit the ad creatives for scheduling at least 5 working days prior to the campaign launch

Production of creative done by SPH Media

  • Submit the ad creatives for scheduling at least 10 working days prior to the campaign launch
  • Refer to the Types of Full Transitional Ad section for the accepted file formats and source files required
