At the PMI SG 10th Project of the Year Awards 2024 SPH Media’s technology team distinguished itself by securing multiple accolades across various categories.
Led by Amit Ranjan, project managers Bahari Bin Haron and Abdul Rozlan spearheaded award-winning initiatives that demonstrated SPH’s commitment to technological advancement and innovation.

Award	Winning Project
Winner (Category B) – Data Centre Network Refresh (DCNR)	This critical infrastructure project focused on upgrading SPH’s eight-year-old Data Centre Core Network, which supports over 500 enterprise and digital applications as well as more than 1,500 servers. The modernisation effort ensures enhanced performance, security, and scalability.
1st Runner-Up (Category A) – Unified Editorial Content Management System (UECMS)	As part of SPH Media’s transformation efforts, this initiative aimed to unify editorial systems, streamlining content creation, curation, production, and distribution across both digital and print platforms. The project significantly improved workflow efficiency and cross-platform content integration.
Special Recognition Award – Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI)	Addressing the critical obsolescence of SPH’s aging virtualisation infrastructure, this modernisation project was a crucial step in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring future-ready technology systems.
