The Job

As a business news journalist/correspondent, you are expected to gather facts and information through research and interviews and report the information in a clear, concise and exciting way in the print article and digital format.

Requirements

• Degree holder, preferably in business, finance, economics, and accountancy
• Effectively bilingual in Chinese and English, with excellent writing, translation, and conversational skills
• Possess a curious mind with a nose for news and scoops
• Has a strong interest in business news and current affairs
• Must be driven, independent, reliable, and highly adaptable to changes
• Possess the ability to excel with autonomy and ambiguity
• Meticulous, accurate, and result-oriented, and demonstrates the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Sensitive to numbers and data
• Possess the ability to break down complex ideas and make them easy to understand for different target audiences/stakeholders
