Feeding Singapore

Founded in the 1900s, Yeo’s is a homegrown brand that ‘grew up’ with Singapore, offering an extensive portfolio of Asian beverages that is well-loved by locals.
The brand is synonymous with Singapore’s hawker scene since the beginning, and its canned beverages can be found in almost every one of our hawker centres big and small. It is that ingrained in our culture.
So, when the opportunity arose about a year after the UNESCO award, Yeo’s wanted to celebrate this pride with fellow Singaporeans and reinforce their position as part of our local hawker culture.
Our Approach
“Feeding Singapore” a three-part social video series, with each instalment focusing on a hawker who sells a particular cuisine that represents one of our communities.
Through this, we want to help Singaporeans see that food is the great connector: regardless of race, language, religion, or socio-economic status, our love for hawker food is our society’s equaliser.
Hawker culture is Singapore culture. And Yeo’s drinks are seen as a ubiquitous part of hawker culture even today, throughout the videos – hence, an integral part of Singapore culture. And not many brands can say that.
