Her World launches survey on the state of women’s health during Covid-19

Singapore, 6 January 2022 -Singapore's No.1 women’s magazine, Her World, has launched the 3rd edition of its “What Women Want” survey, which serves as a pulse check on the state of health and wellness of women during Covid-19.

In partnership with market research firm Milieu Insight, the Her World “What Women Want” survey is a nationally representative survey of at least 1,000 women weighted by age and ethnicity. Since 2020, the results generated by the survey have allowed Her World to engage the community in meaningful conversations that champion female empowerment and women’s issues.

Her World is the voice for the Singapore woman and has been celebrating and championing women since its conception. This year, it aims to understand women’s experiences and opinions regarding their physical, mental and emotional health vis-à-vis the pandemic.

These include the challenges they may have faced in meeting physical fitness goals, the biggest factors affecting their mental health, the positive changes they have made in the past year, and major concerns they have heading into 2022.

In 2021, the survey was about gender equality, and explored issues such as gender roles and expectations, and gathered real answers on what can be done to move toward greater gender equality. In 2020, the survey focused on happiness and what makes women happy.

Editor-in-Chief of Her World, Elizabeth Lee said: “Over the past two years, the pandemic has irrevocably changed the way we work, play, think and behave. It takes plenty of grit to weather through constant uncertainty and our focus on mental, emotional and physical wellness for 2022 will shine an important spotlight on how living in this new norm has ultimately impacted the Singaporean woman.”

From now until 12 January 2022, respondents are invited to take part in the Her World “What Women Want” survey via the Milieu Surveys app, which can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play. Instructions on how to access “What Women Want” are available here.

15 selected respondents stand a chance to win Takashimaya shopping vouchers for participating in the survey. The findings will be released in the March 2022 issue of Her World.
