The MOU was signed by Ms Loh Woon Yen, Managing Editor of CMG and Mr Chen KeZhan, Founder and Deputy Chairman of TMG, at Temenggong Artists-In-Residence. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Ms Lee Huay Leng, Editor-in-Chief of CMG and Mr George Yeo, Patron of TMG.
The collaboration, which begins on 3 March 2023, will recognise TMG as ZB Club’s official venue partner and co-organiser of selected ZB Club’s programmes. In the coming year, ZB Club will hold four events at TMG’s premises so that its members can enjoy TMG’s curated arts, cultural and heritage ambience. ZB Club members will also be able to attend TMG’s film screenings, exhibitions, workshops, talks and community outreach events. With this MOU, TMG will also be able to enjoy preferential rates for the translation and publishing services provided by SPH Media for its events.
On the partnership, Ms Loh Woon Yen, Managing Editor of CMG, SPH Media, said: “Through this collaboration, we hope that our readers can learn more about this unique space that is rich in history, culture and the arts. We look forward to holding activities here for our readers, so that they can enjoy the new experiences and appreciate the culture and heritage presented in the various arts forms.”
Mr Chen KeZhan, Founder and Deputy Chairman of Temenggong Artists-In-Residence, said: “The collaboration with SPH Media’s Chinese Media Group marks another milestone for Temenggong Artists-In-Residence. Following the signing of the MOU, ZB Club will hold its first event at TMG on 18 March 2023. Mr Chen KeZhan will be conducting a sharing session with ZB Club members on TMG, a living museum uniquely furnished with original artefacts and antiquities, and his experiences as an artist.
