Three young entrepreneurs recognised for their sustainability efforts at ICON Ball 2023
Singapore, 13 April 2023 - ICON Singapore, SPH Media’s leading Chinese luxury lifestyle magazine, launched THE NEXT ICON AWARDS this evening at the brand’s 18th Anniversary gala event. Ms Ho Ren Yung, Senior Vice-President of the Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts; Mr Victor Tan Jenn Chyen, Chief Executive Officer of TOP International Holdings; and Ms Cynthia Handriani Wijaya, VP of Business Development & Investor Relations of the Daya Selaras Group, were honoured for leading the charge in promoting sustainability in their industries.
The inaugural THE NEXT ICON AWARDS aim to foster innovation, excellence, and leadership among young entrepreneurs and family businesses in Singapore and the region. This year, the candidates were shortlisted for their sustainability efforts and initiatives in family businesses.
Mr Sylvester Ng, Editor-in-Chief, ICON Singapore, said: “We are proud to recognise these exceptional individuals who are driving sustainable initiatives in their family businesses. Their dedication and leadership are a testament to the spirit of innovation and excellence that the award embodies. ICON Singapore was proud to partner the Singapore Management University’s Business Families Institute (BFI) which lent its support as Knowledge Partner, and to jointly select the winners. More information on the criteria for the Awards can be found in the Annex.

ICON Ball 2023 was held at Shangri-La Singapore, and supported by Cartier, Bentley Singapore, Asian Skin Aesthetic and AMAFFI Perfume House.
