It's now better, faster and easier to use.
Singapore, 5 July 2010 - ST701 and its four verticals - Jobs, Cars, Property and Shops - have proven to be a comprehensive e-marketplace for buyers and sellers since its entry into the new media platform in 2006.
ST701 Jobs has grown steadily and it now has a sizable membership base of 350,000 registered users. With a buoyant job market driven by rapid growth in Asia and better business sentiments, this is an opportune time to launch a new system that meets the needs of recruiters and job seekers.
In line with SPH’s commitment to develop its multi-platform media products, the revamped ST701 Jobs site is an investment to ensure that SPH maintains its competitive edge in the digital revolution. Some $3 million was invested to develop the new ST701 Jobs site with Accenture by using the best and most advanced search and match technologies.
The new job portal is designed to be more scalable to cope with the growing number of users and their expectations. The new site can handle a larger volume of traffic and information at a faster speed.
Ms Elsie Chua, Executive Vice-President of CATS Classified, Marketing Division, said: “This investment shows our commitment to delivering an excellent platform for recruiters and job seekers. We refined and simplified the site and added new features so that both parties will find the right talent or right job faster and easier."
