Singapore, 7 April 2011 – Female and Nuyou’s annual Catwalk shows have always been a talking point, from being held at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3, to showing up on a 163 metres long Catwalk. This year, the leading women's fashion titles from SPH Magazines chose a hip and raw location – The Pit Building – for a cool, intimate and champagne-fuelled show on 12 April 2011.
Female and Nuyou have found the perfect partner for the event - Marc by Marc Jacobs. Marc Jacobs’ secondary line of vintage-inspired, youthful looks, is celebrating its 10th birthday this year. In the decade since it was established, the brand’s runway looks have become as sought after and admired as Jacobs’ main line.
350 VIP guests, including celebrities like Olivia Ong, Jesseca Liu and Pamela Chee, will see a show of 40 Spring/Summer looks, with hair styled by Kenaris salon using Redken products, as well as makeup by Bobbi Brown. Also on board as sponsors are Mercedes, DBS Black American Express card, Daisy Marc Jacobs fragrance and Canon.
Over the weekend after the show (15 to 17 April), all DBS cardholders will receive a 10 per cent discount at Marc by Marc Jacobs’ Mandarin Gallery store. There will also be a 10 per cent discount for readers at the Mercedes Boutique at Mercedes-Benz Centre onAlexandra Road.
