Singapore, 27 April 2011 --- The winner of the my paper Executive Look 2011 will be revealed on 28 April (Thursday) at the my paper Executive Look 2011 grand finals at Zouk Singapore. The contest is the signature event of My Paper, Singapore’s first full-fledged bilingual newspaper by leading media group Singapore Press Holdings (SPH).
The my paper Executive Look, now in its fourth year, is a competitive search for a young male or female executive who best epitomises the urban working executive – smart, stylish, savvy and confident. Besides providing a platform for executives to express themselves, the contest aims to enhance the contestants' profiles in the corporate world. HTC is the presenting sponsor for the event this year.
Registration started in February 2011 and over 500 entries were received. This year’s crop of 16 finalists have varied working backgrounds, ranging from finance, IT, media, to the medical, as well as defence industries.
As the search was for the definitive urban working executive, the finalists will be judged not on their looks but on their confidence, charm, wit, eloquence, “EQ” (Emotional Quotient) and “OQ” (Office Intelligence Quotient).
The finalists stand to win over $50,000 worth of prizes. The top 3 contestants will be unveiled at the grand finals, and the grand winner will walk away with $10,000 cash, a HTC HD7 worth $788 and $500 worth of Shiseido products.
There are several subsidiary awards up for grabs this year – The HTC “Best Communicator” Award sponsored by HTC, “Redken Most Stylish Look” sponsored by Redken and “Shiseido Most Radiant Look” sponsored by Shiseido. The finalist who received the highest number of votes from readers of My Paper via an online voting contest on http://executivelook.mypaper.sg will also receive the “Readers’ Choice Award”.

My Paper is a compact-sized, full-colour newspaper that places equal emphasis on Chinese and English. It has a daily circulation of 250,000 copies, and is available from Monday to Friday at MRT stations, bus interchanges, office buildings and selected residential areas.
