Hollywood comes to 91.3FM

91.3FM unveils its brand new weekend programming

Singapore, 25 July 2011 - 91.3FM, the English language radio station of SPH UnionWorks, is set to revamp its weekend programming in August.

Listeners can look forward to the debut of two brand new shows direct from Hollywood - Cannon’s Countdown with Nick Cannon and The Fab 30 with Perez Hilton - from 8pm to 12 midnight on Saturdays and Sundays respectively, exclusively on 91.3FM.

Mr Jamie Meldrum, Program Director for 91.3FM, said: "We're thrilled to welcome Nick Cannon and Perez Hilton to the line-up at 91.3FM. Nick is one of the hottest young stars around today and is a genuinely funny guy so you can expect hot music, laughs and major celebrity guests every week on Cannon's Countdown. And of course, Perez Hilton is THE source for Hollywood gossip and celebrity exclusives”.

Late-night listeners will be able to catch the repeat broadcast of both shows at midnight on Mondays and Tuesdays respectively. Both programs have produced outstanding international ratings, with Cannon’s Countdown being ranked No.1 in the United States among teenagers.

There is also a brand new Saturday Morning Show - "Charmaine Over Easy" - with 91.3FM newcomer, Charmaine Yee, from 6am to 12pm. Then, it's requests time with Hot 30 duo Boy Thunder and Adam the Intern's “Reques-Tickles” from noon till 6pm, while veteran Jeremy Ratnam takes the reins on Sunday from noon till 6pm for "The Weekend Wind-up".

91.3FM has been Singapore's fastest growing English radio station over the past two years, with a jump from 198,000 listeners to 286,000 listeners (Wave 2, 2009 vs Wave 1, 2011).
