Health & You Exhibition 2011

Singapore, 23 August 2011 Health & You Exhibition 2011 will be held at Suntec Singapore on 27 and 28 August 2011. With its large selection of health-related products and services as well as free health checks by exhibitors for visitors, Health & You Exhibition is the most anticipated health event of the year. 
The exhibition is jointly organised by The Straits Times Mind Your Body and LOHAS, the health section of Lianhe Zaobao, and is presented by Nestlé Singapore. Admission is free. Last year’s exhibition drew a crowd of more than 100,000 visitors. 
Mr Gan Kim Yong, Minister for Health, will be the Guest-of-Honour for the Health & You Exhibition 2011 Opening Ceremony, which will be held on 27 August at 9.30am.
Now into its seventh year, the Health & You Exhibition is a large-scale event where health conscious Singaporeans can find health, nutrition and wellness products and services under one roof. These include: 
  • A wide variety of health supplement and healthy drinks and food offerings for all ages
  • Healthy lifestyle choices such as the latest alkaline ionised water systems in the market, products made from charcoal that will boost sleep and health, and health bracelets that send out negative ions to promote blood circulation
  • Telecommunication devices and hearing aids that focus on the needs of the elderly
  • Wellness & Fitness equipment like massage chairs and plating machines for weight loss and better fitness
  • Alternative health services like Chiropratic and TCM Tuina
  • Hair and skincare offerings, and more. 
Various health check services are also provided by many of the exhibitors for visitors to learn more about their own health status. Many of the health checks are free.

  • Hearing check by Bay Audio (Booth B22)
  • Bone density check by Medic Marketing (Booth B33)
  • Spinal health consultation (Booth E22)
  • Free Tuina by Chien Chi Tow (Booth E8)
  • H2O is offering body composition check, which measures one’s body fat, body water percentage, metabolic age, body muscle mass, bone mass, etc (Booth A6)
This year, visitors to Health & You can also sign up on site for health talks to equip themselves with information from health industry experts. 
At the exhibition, there will be lots of stage activities to entertain visitors. Highlights include the “MILO® King of Footbag Contest”. Footbag is a relatively new sport in Singapore involving a small ball made of leather or cloth and filled with beads. The way the sport is played is similar to the traditional Sepak Takraw. 
Exhibitors at the Health & You Exhibition 2011 will be offering attractive discounts of as much as 30 per cent, gifts with purchase, free samples and more. To enjoy the offers, visitors simply need to cut out the coupons found in The Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao on 26 and 27 August and present them at the respective booths. Lucky shoppers may also walk away with prizes worth more than $10,000 by spending just $20.

Nestlé Singapore is the Presenter of the Health & You Exhibition for the third year running. They have been supporting the exhibition since it was first launched in 2005.
