Singapore, 27 October 2011 – Singapore Press Holdings' (SPH) online portals are the preferred digital media platforms of marketing professionals in Singapore, according to the latest results from the Digital Media of the Year Awards by Marketing Magazine.
Seven of the winning websites are managed by SPH Magazines, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SPH. They are ranked among the top three across six categories:
Luxury – The Peak (1st), Luxury Insider (3rd)
Tech – HardwareZone.com (1st)
Men – Men’s Health (1st)
Women – Her World (2nd)
Travel – SilverKris (2nd)
Specialist Car – Torque (joint 2nd)
In particular, SPH Magazines has done well well in the Luxury category, with The Peak and Luxury Insider taking the top and third spots.
Luxury Insider is managed by Antarctica Interactive Private Limited, the holding company of the Luxury Insider Group. SPH Magazines has a 34 per cent stake in the company. SilverKris, which is owned by Singapore Airlines with editorial content managed by SPH Magazines, is second in the Travel category.
Mr Loh Yew Seng, Chief Executive Officer of SPH Magazines, said: “We are delighted that advertisers and advertising agencies have placed their confidence in us. We have invested much time and resources into our new media portals to make them not just the best websites for our readers, but also the best viable marketing solutions for our advertisers."

A total of 603 respondents, including client advertisers from different industries and agencies, participated in the survey. The respondents included CEOs, managing directors, general managers, vice-presidents or director level marketers.

Events and Out-of-Home Advertising
