16 JULY 2004 - Back by popular demand, Singapore’s biggest and hippest outdoor Chinese pop performance will be held on 28 August 2004 at the Padang.
The ZPOP zbNOW concert is organised by Lianhe Zaobao, the flagship Chinese daily of Singapore Press Holdings and presented by Hang Ten, for the second year.
The first was held last year as part of Lianhe Zaobao´s 80th Anniversary celebrations. It featured a star-studded lineup of 15 popular artistes such as Park Yong-Ha, Chen Xiao Dong, Tension, eVonne Hsu, Hu Bing, Lee Xin Jie and Fan Yi Cheng, and attracted a crowd of over 20,000 at the Padang, making it Singapore´s biggest outdoor concert!
This year, ZPOP zbNOW Concert will be raising funds for President´s Challenge 2004, in aid of 45 charity organisations chosen by President S R Nathan.
The concert, co-hosted by popular UFM 1003 deejays, Toshi and Lina, will feature top pop singers from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore. The line-up of artistes is as follows:

The programme also includes a Hang Ten Fashion Dance segment.
The Guest-of-Honour of the concert is His Excellency, President S R Nathan. Eight well-known artistes from SPH MediaWorks - Adrian Pang, Bryan Wong, Kym Ng, Shaun Chen, Celest Chong, Michelle Chia, Apple Hong and Ann Kok - will also be making special appearances at the concert to help raise funds for the annual President´s Challenge.

Concert tickets and limited edition mini tee-shirts will go on sale from 17 July. All proceeds will go to the President´s Challenge 2004.
Sale of tickets
Normal tickets are available at $10 while limited special Mosh Pit tickets (premium area near to stage) are at $50 each. Ticket holders will receive a raincoat jacket (while stocks last) and a bangle glow stick on the spot.
Limited edition mini tees
Mini-tees (18cm x 18cm) with special prints of SPH MediaWorks stars are available in 4 different designs at $5 each.
