Celebrate Spring in Full Bloom at The Clementi Mall

Singapore, 17 January 2013 – This Chinese New Year, The Clementi Mall brings a wealth of joyous celebrations, with festive performances and exciting privileges in store for its shoppers. 

1. Gift with Purchase 

Shoppers can redeem for a pack of The Clementi Mall Hongbaos with a minimum of $68 spent at any shop. Shoppers will also receive an additional limited edition The Clementi Mall NETS FlashPay Card (with $5 value) with a minimum of $268 spent at any shop or $288 for receipts that include FairPrice Finest. 

2. Sure Win Dip

The first 1,500 shoppers to spend a minimum of $168 at any shop or $188 for receipts that include FairPrice Finest will stand a chance to win shopping vouchers and more.

3. Kids Stores Promotion

Shoppers can redeem 
Sand or Window Art from Noah’s Artz with a minimum of $50 spent at participating stores.

Participating stores: Chateau De Sable, Colettee, Fox Kids & Baby, Hi Kids Fashion, Kiddy Palace, Mini Princess, Noah’s Artz and Periwinkle. 


4. Meet the God of Fortune

Meet the God of Fortune as he makes his appearance at the mall from 25 to 27 January and 1 to 3 February, 3pm – 4pm. 

5. Chinese Instrumental Performances


Jade Trio
 will bring to The Clementi Mall a repertoire of festive tunes, using traditional instruments like Flute, Er Hu and Yang Qin. Happening from 26 to 27 January and 3 February, 3pm and 4pm. 

Singapore Chinese Orchestra 
will perform a symphony of melodic and festive tunes on 2 February, 3pm as part of the SPH Gift of Music series.

Terms & Conditions: Promotions are valid from 18 January to 9 February 2013, unless otherwise stated. Privileges are only valid at The Clementi Mall outlets, not valid with other offers, discounts, promotions, or vouchers, while stocks last. Limited to 2 packs of Hongbaos per shopper per day. Maximum 3 same-day receipts can be combined for redemption. For all redemptions, shoppers are required to present their NRIC, same-day receipt(s), upon redemption at The Clementi Mall Information Counter at Level 4. Valid for one redemption per shopper per day on a first come first served basis and while stocks last. Not applicable for bill payments and vouchers purchases. Valid for 1st instalment amount for purchases made under the instalment plan. Receipts once utilised for redemption in the program will not be applicable for other ongoing mall or outlet promotions.

Broadcasting

SPH has a 20 per cent stake in MediaCorp TV Holdings Pte Ltd, which operates free-to-air channels 5, 8 and U, and a 40 per cent stake in MediaCorp Press Limited, which publishes the free newspaper, Today. In the radio business, SPH has an 80 per cent stake in SPH UnionWorks Pte Ltd, which operates entertainment stations UFM 100.3 in Mandarin, as well as Kiss 92 and HOT FM91.3 in English.


Events and Out-of-Home Advertising

SPH’s events subsidiary Sphere Exhibits organises innovative consumer and trade events and exhibitions. In addition, SPH has ventured into out-of-home (OOH) advertising through its wholly-owned subsidiary, SPH MediaBoxOffice Pte Ltd, Singapore’s leading Digital Out-of-Home advertising company.


Properties

SPH owns and manages Paragon, the prime retail and office complex in the heart of Orchard Road, Singapore's main shopping belt. Its second retail development, The Clementi Mall, started business operations in 2011. SPH's wholly-owned subsidiary, Times Development Pte Ltd, has also developed a 43-storey upmarket residential condominium, Sky@eleven, at Thomson Road. SPH‘s latest retail development project, The Seletar Mall, is slated for completion by end 2014.
