A Dazzling Chinese New Year at Paragon

Singapore, 18 January 2013 – Celebrate the start of a blooming new year with good old tradition at Paragon. The Chinese New Year theme this year is 炫 (xuàn), which means shine, or dazzle. As a tradition, Paragon will be spectacularly decorated with Chinese Peony flowers, a specimen native to Asia. The Atriums will also be decorated with groups of fans in three clusters amongst the hanging Peonies, creating a flutter of Spring liveliness within the mall.

From 18 January to 9 February, shoppers can indulge in a variety of festive privileges, receive dazzling gifts as well as enjoy performances that will be held at the mall. 

1. Citibank Cards Exclusive

Citibank Paragon WORLD MasterCard members will receive $30 Paragon Shopping vouchers with a minimum of $380 charged in a single receipt at Paragon. Citi Paragon Platinum MasterCard and other Citibank Credit/Debit cardmembers will receive $20.

Citibank Paragon WORLD MasterCard/Citi Paragon Platinum MasterCard members who top up their purchases to $1,680¹ (maximum 3 same-day receipts) at Paragon
, will also receive anagnes b. leather passport holder worth $145.

Citibank Credit/Debit cardmembers who spend a minimum of $12,000² (maximum 3 same-day receipts) at Paragon 
will receive a Georg Jensen Legacy Centerpiece worth $450.

4. Nyee Phoe Collection: Spring 2013 and Panda Garden Display

From 18 January to 17 February, the Nyee Phoe Collection at Paragon Atrium 2 will see the first ever handcrafted life-sized Panda Garden Display (which symbolises peace and good fortune), where creative use of plants will showcase a surreal replica of this endangered animal's natural habitat. 

Besides the life-sized Panda exhibit, the Paragon atrium will be decorated with bamboo plants and spring flowers. Shoppers can walk amongst the Chinese-inspired deco and draw inspiration for their homes this Chinese New Year. 

Shoppers can also visit the Nyee Phoe Spring 2013 at Paragon B1 Event Hall from 25 January to 8 February, where a wide variety of festive plants will be available for purchase. 

TERMS & CONDITIONS: For all redemptions, shoppers are required to present their NRIC, same-day shop receipt(s), Credit or Debit Card and charge slip(s) upon redemption at the Paragon Concierge, Level 1. Valid for one redemption per cardmember per day on a first-come-first-served basis and while stocks last. Cardmembers are entitled to one redemption per day only notwithstanding the number of Credit & Debit Cards owned. Not applicable for bill payments, instalment plans and voucher purchases. Receipts utilised for redemption in the programme will not be applicable to other ongoing mall or shop promotions. Redemption is to be done on the same day of purchase at Paragon Concierge, Level 1.
