173 Winners Revealed at the Biggest Her World Beauty Awards Yet

Singapore, 25 February 2013 – Her World, SPH Magazines’ flagship title and Singapore’s No. 1 women’s magazine, has revealed 173 winners at Her World Beauty Awards 2013. 

Into its 12th year, the Her World Beauty Awards 2013 is its biggest haul yet, with a total of 173 winners across 99 categories such as skincare, makeup and hair care. A total of 914 nominees – including 866 products, 19 advertisements and 19 beauty counters – were evaluated on how they best targeted the concerns and met the needs of customers. 

This year, three special awards were also given away:

    · Her World up-and-coming Makeup Artist of the Year
    · Best Counter Service 
    · Best Retail Revamp

More than 1000 votes were received from readers online as well as via magazine voting forms to determine the Readers’ Choice winners. Her World’s panel of judges (consisting of editors, beauty writers, leading makeup, hair experts and doctors) were tasked with assessing and selecting the Editors’ Choice Awards. 

Started in 2001, Her World Beauty Awards – the first of its kind held by a magazine in Singapore – honours outstanding players in the beauty industry for products that have demonstrated unparalleled superiority. The 2013 awards is a review of products that were launched between October 2011 and September 2012.
