Singapore, 23 March 2013 – HOT FM91.3 DJs, Boy Thunder and Adam, have completed 77 hrs 11 mins of Live Show at Happy Hub, Plaza Singapura. They ended the marathon radio show at 11:11:11 am today.
In an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest radio show for a duo, DJ Boy Thunder and Adam Piperdy spent 77 hrs 11 mins doing their show live in the glass container at Happy Hub, spreading the message to bring happiness everywhere with StarHub Mobile.
Starting their show from Wednesday at 6am, DJ Boy Thunder and Adam were positive about completing the task. As the days progressed, it was clear that the weather was one of the main challenges to overcome. Nevertheless, the support received from their fans and members of the public made them more determined to continue and complete the challenge.
Nadya Hutagalung, Adrian Pang, Trick, Tzire and stars of Ah Boys To Men were amongst the guests who dropped by Happy Hub and shared with them their definition of bringing happiness everywhere. The other fellow DJs from HOT FM91.3 also dropped by to support them and sent encouraging messages to the duo.
According to Boy Thunder, he could not have completed the StarHub Mobile Happython without his best friend, Adam. They have been encouraging each other non-stop and spent most of their time within the small space laughing rather than resting.
Boy Thunder said: "I'm very fortunate to be achieving something with my best friend. Although there were times during the attempt when we wanted to give up, the occasional slaps on the face made the whole experience a lot of fun. One thing which I hope to do after this is to go for a six hour spa which I hope my bosses can provide!"
Adam shared: "It felt really nice to be fed throughout the entire process. At one time, we had a buffet of different bubble teas brought by our listeners. I was very touched by all their efforts and well-wishing cards."
HOT FM HOT Breakfast airs every morning from Monday to Friday on HOT FM91.3, Singapore's Hottest Hits.
