Shape Run 2013 welcomes mums with tots

The upcoming eighth edition of Singapore’s original all-women running event includes a new stroller fun run.

Singapore, 8 May 2013 – Online registration for Shape Run 2013, organised by SPH Magazines Pte Ltd, has commenced. The event will be held on Sunday, 7 July, at Nicoll Highway. Participants can register via Shape Run’s micro site at

Besides the usual 5km and 10km races, participants can look forward to a new non-competitive 2.4km stroller fun run this year. Women looking to kick-start their post-baby weight loss programme will have something to look forward to. Fringe activities such as training runs with pacers will also be conducted in the weeks leading up to the event.

All participants will get a runner’s kit filled with fitness and beauty essentials as well as a limited-edition Shape Run 2013 tee from Reebok, all packed into an exclusive Shape gym bag. Race finishers in all three run categories will get a race e-certificate with their personal timing and a finisher’s medal after the event. Runners who top up $10 or $20 on the race fee will get a six-month or 12-month subscription to Shape magazine

Shape runners, readers and the public are welcome to check out the latest health, beauty and fitness products and services at the Shape Run carnival held before the race from 21 to 23 June 2013 at Marina Square Central Atrium Level 2. Participants will collect their race packs and runner’s kits at this carnival.
