Singapore, - Singapore’s biggest car mart event is back with nearly one hundred booths selling new and pre-owned cars, as well as other car-related products and services. Be it car buyers looking for economical compact cars, family-oriented buyers looking for sedans, executives looking for lavish marques, or motoring enthusiasts scouting for accessories to spruce up their ride, visitors to Singapore Press Holdings' (SPH) CATS Classified Car-nival 2013 will be spoilt for choice.
They will also get to witness the unveiling of the new SsangYong Stavic APV (All Purpose Vehicle) at the event. The 7/9-seater Stavic is designed to provide the flexibility of a recreational vehicle (RV), the styling of a sports utility vehicle (SUV), and the comfort of a luxury saloon.
Besides catering to those looking for cars and motoring equipment, there are also plenty of exciting and entertaining activities, including the first ever “Junior Speedster” Fastest Baby-Walker Race sponsored by Motorway. Parents of the fastest baby to complete eight metres in their “racers” will win a baby hamper worth $200, petrol vouchers worth $200 and a trophy. There will also be movie screenings for kids, game stalls and more to keep the whole family entertained.
CATS Classified will once again be running its Race Queen Pageant, where visitors can look forward to seeing ladies with svelte figures strutting down the catwalk and posing with two supercars. The winner will be crowned CATS Classified Car-nival Race Queen 2013 and will walk away with a cash prize of $3,000. In addition, the Race Queen who is crowned Miss Stamford Curvaceous will win a cash prize of $1,500. Visitors will be invited to vote for their favourite contestants and will stand to win great prizes. The CATS Car-nival Race Queen Pageant 2013 is sponsored by Stamford Tyres.
Buyers and visitors can look forward to attractive lucky draw prizes and gifts, including petrol vouchers worth more than $6,000 in the visitors’ draw, hourly buyers’ draw and grand draws. Freebies include popcorn, candy floss, potato crisps, and crackers.
