Singapore, 17 July - Health & You Exhibition 2013, the most anticipated health event, will be held at Suntec Singapore Exhibition Halls 401 to 403 on , from . Admission is free.
The annual event is jointly organised by The Straits Times Mind Your Body and Lohas, the health section of Lianhe Zaobao. AIA Singapore is the presenter of the exhibition.
Mdm Halimah Yacob, speaker of Parliament, will be the Guest-of-Honour for the Health & You Exhibition 2013 Opening Ceremony, which will be held on 20 July at 8.30 am.
Into its ninth year, the two-day exhibition is a large-scale event where health conscious Singaporeans can find leading health, nutrition and wellness products and services under one roof. Besides product offerings, various health checks will also be available at the exhibition.
The highlight of the exhibition is the "K-Pop Dance Challenge" which will happen between daily. A total of twenty five teams will contest the semi-final round, which will take place . About half are expected to qualify for the finals . Winners of this group competition will win cash prizes. Other stage activities include exercise demonstrations and cooking demonstrations.
There is also a Kids' Corner to inculcate in children the love for nature via learning through entertainment as a form of education. Workshops include Tee-Bags Workshop, Terrarium Workshop, Recycled Paper Art Workshop and more. These activities are free and registration will be held on-site at the Kids' Corner.
Talks and seminars will also be held throughout the two-day event where health experts and specialists will cover a wide range of health topics.
Visitors to the AIA booth can look forward to great offers. Themed Real Change to Health begins with AIA Vitality, the presenter will launch AIA Vitality on 17 July. It is an integrated science-backed wellness programme and provides comprehensive and valuable savings from partners such as HealthyFood at Cold Storage, Vitality Health Check at Guardian pharmacies and more. Selected partners will be at the AIA booth to bring great offers to customers. Membership for AIA Vitality is at $9 per month and existing AIA customers may sign up at the AIA booth during the exhibition. New customers may also sign up with the purchase of selected AIA insurance plans. Visitors can also participate in games at the AIA booth to win great prizes, like AIA Vitality skipping rope and AIA Vitality gymball. There are more than 1,000 prizes to be won.
This year, the Health Promotion Board's (HPB) exhibit will focus on the topics of nutrition, physical activity, mental wellness, screening, smoking cessation, HealthyMeTV (HMTV) and Healthy Lifestyle Index (HLI). It will be highly interactive and engaging. Health ambassadors will be onsite to encourage visitors to do the HLI and signup for HMTV.

Events and Out-of-Home Advertising
SPH’s events arm Sphere Exhibits organises innovative consumer and trade events and exhibitions as well as large scale conferences in Singapore and the region. In addition, SPH has ventured into out-of-home (OOH) advertising through its digital out-of-home platform SPH MediaBoxOffice.
SPH owns and manages Paragon, the prime retail and office complex in the heart of Orchard Road, Singapore's main shopping belt.
