Singapore, 18 July - The inaugural showing of Office Expo Asia (OEA) 2013 received tremendous support from visitors over the three day exhibition held at Halls B & C of Marina Bay Sands, Expo and Convention Center from 10 – 12 July. As the first and only trade event showcasing complete solutions for the workplace, OEA allowed over 10,000 visitors to discover the total solution for their every business need.
Exhibitors representing office automation and equipment, business software and solutions, workspace planning and design, as well as office supplies and services, were present. Notable exhibitors included Fuji Xerox Singapore, Menlon Agency, Impact Lifestyle (Ergoworks), Exsto Asia, Kumpulan Development, Evolis Asia, Oki Data, Doric Solutions, amongst others.
To inculcate earth-saving efforts in individuals and corporations, the Eco-Office Showcase was conceptualised and set in action, supported by Singapore Environment Council's (SEC) Project Eco-Office. Recreating an actual office fitted with Eco-friendly products such as energy efficient printers, hygiene paper from sustainable sources, flooring that contain recycled material, and "green" tips, visitors walked away inspired to do their personal part for the environment.
Visitors also benefitted from tips to boost their businesses at the Advisory Zone, helmed by the SME Centre @ Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry and SME Infocomm Resource Centre @ Singapore Institute of Retail Studies. Free advice were dished out by expert consultants on various aspects such as productivity and innovation, financial management, as well as internalisation plans. The Singapore Workforce Development Agency was also present to share their initiatives, including the Enhanced Training Support for SMEs.
OEA 2013 was held in conjunction with Singapore Gifts & Premiums Fair (SGPFair), Singapore's first and most established trade show of its kind, showcasing promotional, corporate, incentive and retail gifts.
Together, SGPFair and OEA are Singapore's and the region’s leading platform for corporate and office buyers sourcing for gifts, premiums and office solutions, successfully meeting the ambitions of the corporate business domain.
OEA will return in 2014 from 16 – 18 July at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
