Singapore, --- Lianhe Zaobao, the Chinese flagship newspaper of Singapore Press Holdings, is now available on both iPhones and Android smartphones.
The Lianhe Zaobao smartphone app comes with a PDF version which consists of all the various sections in the print edition, including Singapore, China, South East Asia, Forum, Commentary, Business, Sports, Fukan and Comics. The smartphone app also provides breaking news which is available on Zaobao.com. In addition, the app also comes with Chinese Classified advertisements.
iPhone and Android smartphone users can download the free Lianhe Zaobao app to enjoy one month of free access starting . Users will be charged a subscription fee to access Lianhe Zaobao on smartphone after the one-month free trial ends.
Subscribers will pay $24.65 a month to access the smartphone edition of Lianhe Zaobao. Existing subscribers of the All-in-One package can access the smartphone version with no additional cost. The All-in-One subscription package, which includes the print edition, Zaobao.com, iPad PDF and tablet Web App edition is $26.65 a month.

The 90-year-old Lianhe Zaobao launched its online edition Zaobao.com in 1995. The news website was recently revamped with new content and design. Lianhe Zaobao has subsequently launched its Web App version in December 2011 and PDF version on iPad in 2012 to stay in the forefront of new media.

Events and Out-of-Home Advertising
SPH’s events arm Sphere Exhibits organises innovative consumer and trade events and exhibitions as well as large scale conferences in Singapore and the region. In addition, SPH has ventured into out-of-home (OOH) advertising through its digital out-of-home platform SPH MediaBoxOffice.
