This is the first time both magazines, published by SPH Magazines, are partnering with these top brands for a charitable cause. Proceeds raised from the silent auction will benefit the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF), a non-profit organisation with a mission to improve the quality of lives of children with cancer, as well as their families.
Commenting on the reason for choosing to support CCF, Ms Ong Ting Nee, Consulting Editor for 24:7 and Nuyou Time, said: “Children represent the future, and this resonates perfectly with the concept of time holistically -- the past, present and future.”
She added: “"This year, 24:7 and Nuyou Time are rallying the watch industry for a good cause. Our watch partners have responded to our appeal to help children in need by offering their watches for a silent auction. I am very encouraged to see that beyond the watch industry’s preoccupation with feats of artistry and micro-engineering, it also has a heart to give back to society."

The proceeds raised from this silent auction will go a long way in helping to fund programmes for over 500 cancer-stricken children and their families. All 12 timepieces are also featured in 24:7's Issue Six 13/14, and Nuyou Time's 2014 edition. Both magazines are available in major bookstores, retailing at $8 for 24:7 and $6.90 for Nuyou Time.
