Fourth batch of Singapore Hawker Masters announced at Asian Masters Gala Dinner

Singapore, 22 November, 2013 – The Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao today announced the much-awaited results of the Singapore Hawker Masters 2013 during the Asian Masters Gala Dinner, which was held at Ocean Gallery, S.E.A. Aquarium, Resorts World Sentosa.

Six new Hawker Masters received their awards from Guest-of-Honour Professor Tommy Koh, Ambassador-At-Large, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Over 2,000 readers cast their votes to determine the three finalists in each category.

The search culminated in October when a panel of eight judges visited the finalists’ stalls to decide who would be named a Singapore Hawker Master.
