Voters are winners too in the AsiaOne People's Choice Awards 2014

Singapore, 16 December 2013 – The consumer’s favourite contest is back! The AsiaOne People's Choice Awards 2014 is open for voting and members of the public can pick their favourite brands or services at www.asiaone.com/pca from now until January 2014.

Voters who participate also stand a chance to win over $5,000 worth of shopping vouchers and prizes from the weekly lucky draw.

There are 4 new categories this year – Best Attractions, Best Family-friendly Mall, Best Boutique Hotel and Best Cafe – bringing the total number of lifestyle categories to 28.

The inclusion of these new categories is to reflect changing consumer tastes and preferences.

Last year's awards saw more than 180,000 votes being cast for 27 award categories.

Previously, the toughest battle lay in the food categories. In the hotly contested Best Chinese Restaurant category, Crystal Jade Golden Palace was knocked off its perch after Din Tai Fung emerged as the winner for the first time.

This category is one of the many categories to watch, with keen competition amongst the nominees vying to be the public's favourite brand or service.

AsiaOne editor Adrian Tay said: "Our readers have always been very enthusiastic about voting for their favourite brands and services. This is because the People's Choice Awards serves as a tool to reaffirm the brands that make an impact in our readers' daily lives."

Winners of the 6th annual AsiaOne People's Choice Awards will be announced in the first quarter of 2014.
