Singapore 8 July 2008 – Millenia, a premium lifestyle magazine produced by SPH Magazines Pte Ltd ("SPH Magazines") for Pontiac Land Group ("PLG"), has undergone a transformation. The new Millenia – conceived to complement Pontiac Land Group´s tenet of creating inspiring environments to enhance and enrich cosmopolitan lifestyles – is distributed to PLG´s stakeholders, PLG-owned properties such as offices, a retail mall, hotels and luxury apartments, targeting its tenants, hotel guests and residents.
The inaugural issue was released in March and offers readers more content than before, consisting of a vibrant mix of profiles on opinion leaders, product and event updates, and lifestyle features with international perspectives. Now published three times a year instead of bi-annually, every issue carries an overarching theme. ‘Verdant Earth´ is the thematic focus of the kick-off edition, a timely and topical subject as global awareness on earth-friendly initiatives grows.
Along with this new editorial direction, Millenia´s current design sports a modern, cosmopolitan look with international appeal. From the change in the masthead, to visually-driven layouts and creative applications of typography – all elements work to uplift and update the magazine´s look and feel. Millenia´s larger size and format, together with a conscious decision to use 100 per cent recycled paper, completes the look.
"The change of Millenia is timely as we have to continually look forward, engage readers and be more relevant. We hope readers will glean useful insights and find enriching takeaways," says Joanna Lee-Miller, SPH Magazines´ Associate Group Editor, Custom Publishing.
Carolyn Lee, Corporate Communications Manager, Pontiac Land Group, says: "The new Millenia is an extension of our commitment to inspire people to excellence. The new issue has been very well received by our stakeholders, tenants and hotel guests. We look forward to working together with SPH Magazines to create many more successful issues."
The launch edition of Millenia´s new direction also marks the start of a renewed contract between Pontiac Land Group and SPH Magazines, with the latter continuing to be Pontiac Land Group´s publisher of choice.
Says SPH Magazines Managing Director, Dennis Pua: “We have received very positive feedback on Millenia´s new look and content and remain committed to delivering a quality product with every issue. SPH Magazines is certainly very pleased to be able to continue our partnership with Pontiac Land Group.”
Pontiac Land Group owns Capella Singapore, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore, Conrad Centennial Singapore, The Regent Singapore, Centennial Tower, Millenia Tower, Millenia Walk, Camden Medical Centre, The Colonnade, Brentwood Villas and Villa Madeleine. (www.pontiacland.com)
