SPH’s Carnival of Fun & Great Deals

Singapore, 27 May 2009 – Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) is organising a carnival of fun and great deals this June school holidays. Called The Carnival, this will be held at Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Hall 401 from 29 May to 7 June, from 11am to 9pm daily.

The Carnival is an event for everyone. Apart from offering great entertainment and fun for the young and young-at-heart, visitors can expect many attractive deals. The 10-day fair will feature an exciting line-up of local and international food fare, toys, fashion apparel, health and beauty products, and a Great Singapore Sale bazaar with many irresistible buys.

There will also be stage activities such as magic shows, chatek and hula hoop challenges and sumo wrestling on Saturdays and Sundays. In addition, visitors can have their caricatures drawn or make their own beaded jewellery. While the adults shop, children can participate in colouring contests and stand to win attractive prizes.

Mr Chua Wee Phong, Executive Vice-President of SPH Circulation Department, said, “To thank our readers for their great support to our publications over the years, we have lined up a series of exciting activities for them and their families at The Carnival . In addition, SPH has ventured into outdoor advertising through its wholly-owned subsidiary, SPH MediaBoxOffice Pte Ltd, Singapore’s largest outdoor motion display advertising network media company.
