Amid an unforgettable night of opulence to celebrate ICON Singapore’s 20th anniversary, the annual ICON Ball offered visionary brands a refined platform to connect with corporate and social elites, tastemakers, high-net-worth individuals, and celebrities through bespoke sponsorship experiences that left lasting, tasteful impressions. 

This year, close to 300 distinguished guests attended, including notable names such as Chung May Khuen (Director, National Museum of Singapore), Trina Liang-Lin (MD, Sidra Capital), and Susan Peh (CEO, Adsan Law and Vice-Chair, Singapore Jazz Association). Celebrities and key opinion leaders (KOLs) like Kim Lim, Fiona Xie, and Willabelle Ong elevated the evening's visibility and social media amplification.

Held at the Shangri-La Singapore on 30 April with the theme A New Era Reimagined, the evening dazzled with guests’ stunning custom creations and showstopping pieces and a stirring performance by acclaimed Singapore violinist and Cultural Medallion recipient Lynette Seah. The Next ICON Awards — a celebration of the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders in family businesses — and the highly anticipated 20 Best Dressed segment stepped up the evening’s celebrations.

ION Orchard launches ICON Ball in style with a pre-ball photo exhibition celebrating ICON’s 20th anniversary

Two weeks before the event, Official Destination Mall ION Orchard worked exclusively with ICON to celebrate the home-grown Chinese-language luxury lifestyle magazine’s 20th anniversary through the Iconic Couture - The Art of Timeless Elegance exhibition

The exclusive celebration of ICON’s legacy showcased the magazine’s two decades of cultural influence, visual storytelling, and fashion through past covers, a series of black and white portraits shot by renowned photographer Mark Law, and some haute couture gowns worn to past ICON Balls.  

The exhibition, which saw close to 2,600 visitors throughout its 2-week run from 8 - 20 April, culminated at the Ball with a display of the photowall, amplifying its engagement before and during the event.

BMW Singapore delivers a grand entrance with chauffeured elegance

From luxurious rides to glambot snaps, Official Automotive Partner BMW Singapore delivered sleek sophistication. 

Selected guests were treated to chauffeured rides in BMW's latest models, the i7 Drive 50i , i7 Drive 60 and the X7 xDrive40i M Sport, while the rest of the partygoers were greeted by the latter at the hotel’s main lobby drop off point.

The German carmaker’s all-electric flagship model, the BMW i7 xDrive60 Pure Excellence, was displayed at the event reception. It provided a tasteful backdrop for the glambot photo booth, which doubled up as a tasteful lead-generation tool for the automaker. 

Clé de Peau Beauté delights guests with curated gift sets, extending its brand experience at home

As the Official Beauty Partner, Clé de Peau Beauté reinforced their brand’s elegance and innovation with a striking photowall and a luxurious display of their iconic LE SÉRUM

Curated gift sets that continued the brand’s narrative beyond the event were luxuriously gifted to each of the 300 guests at the event. These included two full-size products to give the guests the full experience.

Diamond2 captivates with show-stopping jewels on display and worn on stage

Luxury met artistry as Official Jewellery brand Diamond2 created sparkling moments with extraordinary pieces, including the Chromatic Odyssey, a 116.12 carat diamond with a commanding 43.01 carat emerald centrepiece and the 10.71-carat Emerald Passage, offering photo opportunities with a high visual impact. 

ICON’s editor-in-chief Sylvester Ng and event host Andrew Zhen from 96.3好FM were adorned with diamond accessories by Diamond2. Sylvester dazzled the crowd with his glittering diamond bracelet and necklace while Andrew sported an elegant diamond-encrusted brooch. 

Air 7 Asia sets the tone for a spectacular opening with a luxurious jet-set entrance

Upping the ante, Air 7 Asia partnered with ICON to produce an opening video featuring EIC Sylvester Ng enjoying a private jet flight before ‘arriving’ at the event to deliver his welcome address, beginning the night with a show-stopping entrance. 

Fen Jiu International tantalises with its signature spirits

As the Official Spirit, Fen Jiu, with its rich heritage, delighted guests with curated Fenjiu cocktails before the event - The ICON Beauty Blossom.

They also served the Fen Jiu Qinghua 20 years and Qinghua 30 years during dinner, with product bottle placement on the tables reinforcing its premium positioning throughout the evening. 

Fiore Dorato transforms the space with its floral blooms

From exhibition to gala night, Fiore Dorato's floral artistry elevated the visual language of the event with its exquisite and artistically designed floral bouquets prominently displayed as each table’s centrepiece and 20 floral bouquets specially crafted to present to our ICON’s 20 Best Dressed ladies.

Roger Vivier hosts ICON readers to a private shopping experience

As Official Fashion Accessories partner, Roger Vivier enjoyed a pre-ball in-store activation and the exclusive screening of a 30-second commercial video during the gala — a showcase of their Spring/Summer collection.
