The inaugural edition of Career Fair by Jobstreet by SEEK & SPH Media, held on August 30 and 31, 2025, has set a new benchmark for recruitment events in Singapore, drawing a record of over 14,700 visitors to the Sands Expo & Convention Centre over the 2-day event. This is a 25% increase from the previous edition.
The fair, which successfully connected 56 leading brands with a diverse pool of talent, was organised in partnership with SkillsFuture Singapore and Workforce Singapore, in support of Career Health, an initiative of the SkillsFuture Movement.
The event’s success was amplified by an integrated SPH Media campaign that ensured maximum visibility and a high-quality audience. This was driven by a simple but powerful idea: combining Jobstreet by SEEK's expertise in talent solutions with SPH Media's unparalleled reach and influence. Our integrated campaign ensured that the right people — a high-quality, diverse, and engaged professionals — were not just aware of the event, but were inspired to attend.
Christopher Chan, Head of Marketing & Media Solutions of SPH Media, noted: "By working together with Jobstreet by SEEK, we are able to build a vast and supportive ecosystem to amplify job opportunities, connect organisations with jobseekers, and help people discover new pathways."
Attendees received more than just access to hiring managers; they benefited from one-on-one career advisory with Jobstreet by SEEK and NTUC's e2i, a resume clinic by AKG Singapore, and complimentary CV photos and styling from G2000. Close to $30,000 worth of lucky draw prizes were given away, creating significant buzz and engagement.
Employers also found significant value in the face-to-face interactions. The face-to-face format allowed for deeper, more meaningful connections than traditional online recruitment methods.
Muhammad Aniq Bin Zulkefli, Work Programme Officer at the Singapore Prison Service, said, "I find it enriching to engage with the candidates to understand and answer their queries."
NCS Pte Ltd’s Talent Acquisition Manager, Valerie Ong, praised the diverse talent pool she observed at the event. "At NCS, we actively seek to hire both experienced professionals and fresh graduates."
The success of this collaboration demonstrates that SPH Media platforms not only deliver impressions but also help create meaningful engagement and build supportive environments that amplify your message and connect you with the right people.
Vic Sithasanan, Managing Director, Singapore, of Jobstreet by SEEK concluded, “The Career Fair was a fantastic opportunity to bring jobseekers and employers together in person — to have real conversations, explore mutual interests, and find the right fit beyond the online world.”
