Held on 3rd October at the Raffles Hotel ballroom, Her World’s Woman of the Year Ceremony 2022 was an event to remember, recognising women whose stellar achievements made them exceptional figures of strength, leadership and inspiration, locally and abroad.
After a two-year break, the event returned this year with a bang, to celebrate the accomplishments of Mrs Ng Gim Choo, Founder, Chairwoman and Group MD of the EtonHouse International Education Group, and Her World’s Woman of the Year, as well as Ms Amanda Chong, lawyer, writer, social justice advocate, and Her World’s Young Woman Achiever of the Year, both of whom have made great strides in championing early childhood education and literacy in Singapore.
This year, the Her World Woman of the Year ceremony was graced by Guest-of-Honour President Halimah Yacob, and attended by close to 200 distinguished guests, including members of the Her World Tribe, women's associations, entrepreneurs, business associates, KOL, celebs as well as past winners of Her World’s Woman of the Year and Young Woman of the Year.
Ms Elizabeth Lee, Editor-in-Chief of Her World, said: "At Her World, we make it our mission to celebrate and advocate for Singapore women. Our Woman of the Year and Young Woman Achiever winners are both remarkable individuals who have not only found success in their respective careers, but have also made significant contributions to their communities. They are inspirational trailblazers who, coincidentally, have pushed for greater access to education in their own way: Gim Choo by starting EtonHouse and introducing inquiry-based learning, and Amanda, through her writing, which is now widely studied by the next generation, and the co-founding of a literacy non-profit.”

Event partners enjoyed greater brand exposure through event coverage on print, social media, and online, as well as on-site branding and product features to distinguished and high-profile guests during the actual event.
