Inaugural edition of The Home Expo attracts more than 10,000 homeowners, buyers, and upgraders

Events

More than 10,000 homeowners, potential first-time buyers, and upgraders trooped to the first edition of The Home Expo in September, organised by SPH Media and presented by real estate agency OrangeTee and Tie.

The three-day event, held from 13-15 September at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, featured 23 leading brands in furniture & furnishings, home appliances & electrical products, interior design, real estate consulting, and financial services to cover a comprehensive view of the home owning journey. These include brands such as Four Star, OSIM, Yu Home, and CIMB Bank.

It provided a stellar opportunity for exhibitors to showcase the latest home interior design trends, drive sales through exclusive deals on home appliances and other home must-haves, and connect with their customers by offering insights and advice.

The healthy footfall was thanks to the holistic media campaign across SPH Media’s print, digital, radio, and out-of-home platforms to create buzz and awareness of the event. Branding ads also ran across Suntec Singapore over the 3-day event.

Curated activities for higher engagement

Apart from the convenience of browsing the various brands’ exhibition booths under one roof, attendees were also spoiled for choice in terms of activities and goodies at the event.

OrangeTee organised a three-day programme that engaged participants with topics that spanned property investment strategies, home living ideas, and exclusive insights on the real estate market to guide participants through the home buying process.

The Home Expo also featured a curated lounge where visitors could touch, feel, test, and discover furniture and furnishing products from Cellini, Dyson, MYSEAT.SG, PRISM+, and The Green Furnishing to get ideas on how to refresh their living spaces.

The Home Expo Lounge was also the perfect setting for the Home Hacks lifestyle talk with social media personalities Ryan Tan and Annette Lee, who shared their experiences building a new home, as well as helpful renovation do’s and don’ts to benefit new homeowners. Feng Shui Master Paul Kek also provided tips and free consultation sessions on using Feng Shui to transform homes.

The organisers created more fun for attendees with freebie redemptions for early birds and instant spin and win upon purchase. Visitors also had a chance to redeem copies of official media Home & Decor’s latest magazines at the Lounge for even more home inspiration.

It was a family affair too, with activities for the kids. The Kids’ Fun Zone was designed to keep the young ones entertained with exciting colouring activities to unleash their creativity and a bouncy castle where they can play and burn off some energy.
