With her final collection inspired by the architecture, shape, form, history and the colours of Fort Canning, Su Hui created a romantic collection of dresses and separates that stood out for its sophisticated palette and fluid shapes. Why we decided to choose her as the winning collection was the beautiful medley of storytelling, coupled with a deep respect for iconic spaces in Singapore and a steadfast belief that beauty doesn’t have to come at the price of gratuitous wastage.”
The show was attended by close to 300 guests including top Singapore celebrities and other notable figures such as Malaysian cosplayer Hakken, entrepreneur Irene Kim, fashion designer Andrew Gn, and entrepreneur and actor Heart Evangelista.
Since 2013, the annual Harper's BAZAAR Asia NewGen Fashion Award has provided emerging fashion designers across the region a launching pad to showcase their design talents and nurture their business acumen further.
The winner’s collection will be showcased in an upcoming Harper’s BAZAAR Singapore fashion spread before retailing at Design Orchard.
