Fans gathered around the area with flashing signs cheering loudly for their favourites while those who were unable to secure tickets were seen standing on the sidelines of the event tent to catch a glimpse of the getai stars and soak in the festivities.

Shin Min editor Mr Choo Chee Wee opened the event, welcoming all attendees with a speech that set the tone for the night’s festivities. Energetic artistes then kept the crowd entertained all night long with witty banter, shoutouts from event sponsors, and attractive lucky draws.

Some lucky audience members walked away with two Neo Garden hampers worth more than $200 each, as well as five $100 Hua Long Fish head Steamboat dining vouchers.

During the performances, the audience were served a delectable Zi Char spread courtesy of supporting partner Hua Long Fishhead Steamboat, which featured dishes including steamed red grouper with assam Nyonya paste, Hua Long signature fried rice with roasted pork and Chinese sausage.
