After five instalments featuring amazing travel destinations such as Japan, Yunnan, Italy, and Switzerland, this edition of the Lianhe Zaobao Travel Seminar successfully concluded in October with a fully subscribed event focusing on the new Harbin-Yi Chun Luxury Train. The series was organised by Lianhe Zaobao and presented by ASA Holidays.
During the session, 250 travel enthusiasts listened raptly to talks by Lianhe Zaobao writer Mr Heng Hua Jee and former actor and current Yi Chun Train ambassador Mr Edmund Chen, who shared about travelling in Northeast China’s Harbin on the high-end tourist train. Both were also in a panel discussion with speakers from ASA Holidays, Mr Lee Kun Ming and Ms Li Qiu. The event was hosted by 96.3好FM DJ, Guo Xian.
Known as a mobile five-star hotel, the luxury train allows tourists to take photos as much as they want to during the journey, thanks to its full landscape design. ASA Holidays is the first local travel agency to add the Yi Chun Luxury Train to its Harbin itineraries.
Opportunities to promote destinations and special offers
Over its five events, the travel seminar engaged over 1,200 members of the Zaobao community in informative sharing sessions about the travel spots.
Attendees could also take advantage of exclusive discounts on travel packages from ASA Holidays at the sales booth located outside the event hall.
Amping up the excitement, lucky draws were held during each session. In this round, participants stood a chance to win 3 pairs of air tickets to Sanya, Hainan and 3 pairs of air tickets to Haikou, Hainan. A goodie bag that includes a round-trip return air ticket voucher to Kuala Lumpur, courtesy of ASA Holidays, was also given to all attendees.
