Scholars’ Choice’s direct outreach to VJC A-level graduates on results day boosts visibility for scholarship providers

Timed to align with the annual release of the A-level results, Scholars’ Choice went to Victoria Junior College (VJC) on 21 February to engage students with copies of The Straits Times’ special supplement on scholarships — along with a complimentary cup of bubble tea to sweeten the day. 

This outreach ensured that VJC’s A-level graduates had timely and direct access to the scholarship opportunities offered by public and private sector bodies featured in The Straits Times Scholars’ Choice.

Kiss92FM DJ Joshua Simon kept the energy high during the outreach event, engaging students in lively discussions about their scholarship plans and aspirations. 

Students like 18-year-old Beatrice Yaury found Scholars’ Choice useful for students to compare scholarships and filter for specific criteria such as courses, while Jarrett Goh, 18, also felt inspired by stories of current teaching scholars.
