SPH Media live-streams the launch of BYD Denza to affluent PMEBs in CBD through outdoor megascreen

A few years after the proliferation of Chinese electric vehicle (EV) brand BYD on our roads, the company has launched its luxury marque, Denza and its flagship model — the Denza D9, Singapore’s first all-electric multi-purpose vehicle (MPV).

To extend the star-studded launch held in Shangri-La Singapore on 10 October, BYD streamed a live feed of the launch on SPH Media’s 100-square meter megascreen at One Raffles Place. 

The outdoor screen was selected due to its significant footfall to reach BYD’s target audience that includes high net worth individuals, decision makers, and C-suites. The launch was seamlessly streamed with full audio and video in one of the busiest areas of Singapore’s Central Business District. 

Immediately following the event, TV commercials featuring the Denza D9’s capabilities were also aired on the screen.  

BYD had a pre-launch splash two days before, blanketing The Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao, The Business Times, Berita Harian, and Tamil Murasu with 2-page cover wraps announcing the Denza D9’s upcoming public launch event at Ion Orchard.

To round off the campaign, BYD also reached radio listeners through SPH Media’s Kiss92 FM and UFM100.3.
