2.1

The following provisions shall apply where purchase and delivery of SPH Media Print Content is available via a subscription service subscribed on or via the Site (“Print Subscription Service”):

2.1.1

The relevant SPH Media Print Content is available via the Print Subscription Service only for deliveries to residential addresses in Singapore, unless otherwise expressly stated by SPH Media.

2.1.2

SPH Media does not guarantee that the said SPH Media Print Content will remain available as a Print Subscription Service. SPH Media reserves the right to alter the Print Subscription Service, the types of content or services offered on or via any SPH Media Print Content, the subscription period, and the fees for such Print Subscription Service.

2.1.3

You agree to pay any subscription fees, delivery fees and other charges for the Print Subscription Services at the rates in effect when the fees and charges are incurred (“Fees”).  No cancellation or early termination of the Print Subscription Service by you is allowed, and subject to Clause 8.3 and Clause 8.4 of the Member Conditions, all paid Fees are non-refundable.  In the event of any cancellation or early termination of the Print Subscription Service by you, you agree to pay SPH Media the unpaid balance of the Fees. In the event that you request to delete your Account, you may not do so unless you cancel your Print Subscription Service in accordance with the terms of this Clause 2. If a Print Subscription Service was subscribed to during any promotion where a discount or special consideration was given in return for a commitment to a minimum service period, an administrative fee of $100 (or such other amount reasonably related to the extent of the discount or special consideration and the duration of the subscription period, as determined in the sole discretion of SPH Media) may be imposed by SPH Media for any cancellation or early termination of a Print Subscription Service by you.

2.1.4

Unless otherwise indicated, the Print Subscription Service will automatically renew for further period(s), each equivalent to the duration of the contracted subscription period, (each a “Renewal Term”) and you agree to be charged the Fees for the Renewal Term using the payment method currently associated with your Account, if any.  You may cancel the automatic renewal at least three (3) days but no more than thirty (30) days (or such other period specified by SPH Media) before the expiry of the current subscription period, by notifying SPH Media via the details at our Contact Us page or as otherwise specified by SPH Media for this purpose.

2.1.5

Any gifts offered for subscribing to the Print Subscription Service are subject to availability of stocks.  Where available, the colour and model of the gift may vary from the sample shown.  If the selected gift is unavailable for any reason, SPH Media reserves the right to replace it with another product of similar value at its discretion.  SPH Media is also entitled to withdraw any gift offered if SPH Media, in its sole and absolute opinion, determines that you have (i) abused the benefit through incidences that include but are not limited to frequent changes of subscription plans or (ii) declared false or misleading information in the subscription form.

2.1.6

In order to subscribe to a Print Subscription Service, you must provide us with complete and accurate payment and delivery information.

2.1.7

By submitting credit card and/or other payment details to SPH Media you warrant that you are entitled to purchase the Print Subscription Service using those payment details.  In the case of unauthorised payments, SPH Media reserves the right to suspend or terminate the Print Subscription Service and the delivery of SPH Media Print Content to you.  If we do not receive payment authorisation or any authorisation is subsequently cancelled, we may immediately terminate or suspend the Print Subscription Service and the delivery of SPH Media Print Content to you and you shall be liable to pay SPH Media an administration fee in addition to the Fees which are payable.

2.1.8

Your application for the Print Subscription Service is subject to our acceptance.  SPH Media will try to process your subscription promptly but does not guarantee that the Subscription Service or SPH Media Print Content will be available to you by any specified time, even if an estimated time is indicated.  A contract with you for receipt of the Print Subscription Service will come into effect only when SPH Media sends you an email confirming your subscription. As an estimate, please allow:

2.1.9

SPH Media reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate your subscription to the Print Subscription Service if you breach any applicable terms and conditions, with or without notice and without further obligation or liability to you.

2.1.10

SPH Media will charge you in Singapore Dollars and any applicable taxes shall be payable by you.

2.1.11

You agree and consent to SPH Media collecting, using and disclosing (including disclosing to SPH Media’s authorised service providers) your personal data for purposes related to your subscription for the Print Subscription Service as set out in the Privacy Policy."
